Threat to Our Democracy Biden vs Trump

“Threat to our Democracy” is the Never Trump Resistance’s battle cry. The president is a very stable genius but he says weird things, like claiming that women let him grab them by the pussy. So his opponents deemed him unfit for office and pitched removing him under the 25th amendment. Failing that, and unable to find evidence President Trump is a Russian double agent, they tried a different approach. The House impeached him for a phone call asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden. But the Senate acquitted him.
Threat to Our Democracy
Now the Democrats hope to remove Trump by other means – an election. But their chosen candidate, Joe Biden, says weird things too. He also got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired. And he’s been accused of grabbing a woman by the.. well, you know.
FBI Goal Questioning Michael Flynn

What was the FBI’s goal when it questioned Michael Flynn? Was it to get the truth or to get him to lie? That’s what Counter Intelligence head Bill Priestap asked in a memo:
“What is our goal? Truth and admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?” This may have expressed an honest question over the motivation behind this targeting of Flynn, a decision for which Comey later publicly took credit when he had told an audience that he decided he could “get away” with sending “a couple guys over” to the White House to set up Flynn and make the case.

Update: Justice Department drops the case against Flynn.
Re-Opening Day for the Economy

It’s time for re-opening… something. While some governors and President Trump are desperate to re-open the economy, many Democrats think otherwise.
We flattened the curve to give hospitals breathing room and delay the virus. But not to stop it.
So far so good. New York City got enough ventilators and made it over the hump. As for the economy – it’s been a bloodletting and it’s on life support. But polls show plenty of people want to keep it that way.
Rich Lowry says they’ve “moved the goal posts.”
Now, the rhetoric around the shutdowns has shifted, and not very subtly — flattening the curve and saving the hospitals are “out,” and not allowing any additional cases to emerge is “in.”
That Little Girl on the School Bus

Remember that little girl on the school bus? That would be Kamala Harris, last seen pistol whipping Joe Biden in a primary debate. Then she played the race card because he opposed forced busing 40 years ago. But apparently all is forgiven. And now she wants to be remembered as Joe’s running mate.
Snitch on Neighbors is New Viral Ethic

Mayor de Blasio encouraged citizens to snitch on their neighbors:
“We still know there’s some people who need to get the message. And that means sometimes making sure the enforcement is there to educate people and make clear we’ve got to have social distancing,”
So, New Yorkers responded by overloading His Honor’s snitch line with middle fingers.
