Great Wall of Chihuahua
I’m not sure why President Trump seems determined to make Mexico pay for the great wall on the border. We don’t expect Mexico pay for our duck penis studies. So shy should Mexico pay for our walls?
Maybe Trump enjoys insulting President Enrique Peña Nieto. He invited the Mexican president for a visit, but then told him not to come if he’s not going to pay for the wall. So he’s not coming.
Great Wall of Honor
Jonah Goldberg in National Review says this is a serious blow to Mexico’s honor. And wars are fought over honor. Peña Nieto is probably back in Mexico City right now sharpening his saber.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump just hung Andre Jackson’s portrait in the Oval Office. In 1806 Charles Dickinson accused Jackson of welching on a horse bet. Not only that, he called Jackson’s wife Rachel a bigamist.
So Old Hickory killed him in a duel.
We may be onto something here.
Political Intelligence Dossier Dosey Doe
The CIA has a “high degree of confidence” that Putin hacked the election in favor of Trump. CNN reported that intelligence agencies had briefed Trump about an incriminating dossier. The document, compiled by a former British spy, implies Trump could be manipulated by Russia. BuzzFeed published a whiz bang story revealing the dossier’s unverified contents.

Meanwhile FBI Director James Comey is being investigated by the inspector general.
Democrats are enraged about a letter, damaging to Hillary Clinton, that Comey sent to Congress days before the election. It’s against FBI policy to comment on its investigations. But the same Democrats were thrilled by Comey’s earlier comment that Hillary shouldn’t be prosecuted.
There is no investigation of Comey’s boss AG Loretta Lynch concerning her secret meeting with Bill Clinton last summer on an airport tarmac.
And now civil rights legend John Lewis says Trump is an illegitimate president-elect. Naturally, the MSM narrative was about Trump’s tweeted response to Lewis’s attack on his legitimacy.
Bob Woodward thinks Trump has a right to be pissed.

George Bush I couldn’t use a bar code scanner at the grocery store, much less take a White House selfie or tweet about it. Of course, that story may have been fake news too.

Russian Hack Fake News Press Conference
At a press conference today Donald Trump said that he thinks Russia probably did hack the DNC. He added that lots of countries hack. And he claimed the DNC was careless with its servers. Not to mention Hillary Clinton and John Podesta, windows logon: p@ssw0rd.

Yesterday Buzz Feed and CNN ran with an unverified story of a Trump honey trap in Moscow. The story claims Putin blackmailed Trump into reporting on Russian Oligarchs with whom he had dealings. Trump and Mike Pence both condemned the story as fake news at the press conference.
Update: A former British spy named Christopher Steele prepared ane opposition research dossier on Trump. It contained unverified material about Russian romps with prostitutes and sweetheart business deals that would make Trump vulnerable to blackmail. The NYT called the dossier Washington’s “worst kept secret”. It was circulated among the NSA, CIA, FBI, and various news organizations. It went unreported because it wasn’t verifiable. That is until BuzzFeed published it. CNN did not publish the contents of the report. It published a story that that the contents of the Dossier had been attached to a confidential report prepared for Donald Trump by the CIA. BuzzFeed, however, did publish the contents of the dossier.
Eviscerating ObamaCare
When President Obama met with party leaders in 2009 Eric Cantor pitched some ideas for the stimulus bill. The president responded, “Elections have consequences and, at the end of the day, I won.” The 800 billion dollar stimulus went on to pass with three Republican votes. And ObamaCare rammed its way through Congress without any Republican support. At the time Democrats controlled the White House, Senate, and House.
Eviscerating ObamaCare
Now that the worm has turned Republicans are committed to eviscerating ObamaCare. But they’re divided over how to do the deed.
The program has never been popular with voters. A new Rasmussen survey finds that only 12% of voters want to keep it as it is. However 56% want the law improved piece by piece. Only 30% want to see the program immediately brought to room temperature.
