Cos and Slick Willy
Bill Cosby admitted he slipped a girl a mickey and then slipped his, well, times were different then. But still.
The #MeToo movement may have locked up it’s first scraggly scalp in Cos.
For his malpractice Dr. Huxtable might spend the rest of his life in prison. And not only that, the film academy just gave him the boot.
Cos and Slick Willy
But possibly thanks to earlier feminists Slick Willy’s more lusterous silver scalp remains unruffled.
Bumbling Boy Scout Comey Elects Trump
Here’s Holman Jenkins in his Business World WSJ column:
That Mr. Comey helped elect Mr. Trump makes it especially ironic that his early publicity tour has been so much devoted to bad-mouthing Mr. Trump’s character. Mr. Trump’s flaws are old news—he’s been bad-mouthed for decades by writers more knowledgeable and insightful than Mr. Comey. Millions of voters preferred him to the establishment alternatives anyway. This is the real news that continues to stick in the craw of Mr. Comey and many others.
Bumbling Boy Scout Comey
Jenkins goes on to add, “Putin is right about one thing: Washington has gone insane.
Candor Man
Andrew McCabe showed a “lack of candor” when answering questions about the Clinton Foundation investigation. That’s according to the Justice Department inspector general. So Jeff Sessions fired him. Just days before he would have received his pension.
Candor
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has also been known for a lack of candor. But he was offering the “least untruthful” answer possible. And he kept his pension.
Russian Youth Vote
Trump congratulated Putin on his re-election. It made him the longest serving Russian ruler since Stalin.
Stalin no doubt would have admired Putin’s 74% take of the vote. But even that’s not as impressive as his 86% support among Russian young people.
Young people in American used to be less skeptical of Russian leaders too. For example, Jimmy Carter warned us of our inordinate fear of Communism. And more recently President Obama dissed Mitt Romney for calling Russia our greatest “geo-political” threat. “The 1980’s are calling and they want their foreign policy back, because the cold war’s been over for 20 years,” Obama mocked.
Brennan’s Russian Youth Vote
Speaking of the 1980’s, former CIA director John Brennan outdid both Carter and Obama. He actually voted for a real live Communist for president. In 1980 he pulled the lever for Gus Hall, leader of the American Communist Party. Brennan was disillusioned with American politics at the time but since then he’s changed his mind.
Which makes him the only American not disillusioned with politics now.
Anyway, as a young CIA recruit Brennan was required to take a polygraph test for a top security clearance. He came clean about his voting history. All was forgiven and he was put in charge of the CIA.
Kind of makes you wonder what Jared Kushner did to lose his top security clearance.
Stormy White House
The WSJ says, President Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, paid $130,000 to porn star Stephanie Clifford, aka Stormy Daniels. Stormy says the payment was part of an agreement to keep quiet about an “encounter” between the two in 2006.
Better Offer for Stormy?
But now she wants out of the deal because she says Trump never signed it.
The Washington Post reported Hillary Clinton’s campaign hid payments through a lawyer too. The campaign’s law firm Perkins Coi paid Fusion GPS to make noise by digging dirt on Trump before the election. Fusion GPS in turn hired the British spy Christopher Steel who produced the “salacious” dossier used to gain FISA court permission to spy on Trump associates.
According to a new book, Russian Roulette, by Michael Isikoff and David Corn, Hillary was following in big footsteps. The Obama campaign had hired the same firm to dig dirt on Mitt Romney.
