Trump Tweet Trips Barr
President Trump is driving his best Attorney General, who never recused himself, around the bend. So much so that A.G. Barr told ABC News that Trump is making it impossible to do his job.

Here’s why. When federal prosecutors recommended a 7-9 year sentence for the president’s odd associate, Roger Stone, Trump was moved to tweet:
“This is a horrible and very unfair situation. The real crimes were on the other side, and nothing happens to them. Cannot allow this miscarriage of justice!”
As it turns out, the Trump tweet may have been right. Barr’s Justice Department wasn’t going to allow “this miscarriage of justice.” They had already decided to ask the judge for a more lenient sentence.
But now it looked like Barr was just following Trump’s orders. So the original 4 prosecutors got mad, quit and hell broke loose.
Acme Impeachment Anvil Falls on Wily Democrats
Things haven’t worked out well for the Wily Democrats. It’s dawning on them that Joe Biden has never won a primary in his 77 years.
Then there was there was the caucus chaos in Iowa.
Elizabeth Warren’s plans to appeal to the far left seem to be losing their favor. But that’s only because Bernie Sanders, a 78 year old socialist, who’s not really a Democrat, is leading the party even further left.
The 38 year old small city Mayor Pete nips at his heels. And 78 year old humongous city Republican Mayor Mike, with billions to burn, is coming on strong. And he says he’s willing to spend whatever it takes.

Maybe Amy Klobuchar will prevail in sensible shoes.
But whatever happens, they’ll always have impeachment.

Trillion Dollar Operators in America
Google’s parent company, Alphabet, became the fourth American tech operation to reach a trillion dollar market value. Meanwhile President Trump released his budget, making Uncle Sam the only American operator with a trillion dollar deficit.
So, sorry Google, since this is only a 4 panel cartoon – you didn’t make the cut.
President Trump Spikes Lt. Col. Vindman
The Senate acquitted President Trump and he spiked the ball. And the first spikee was national security council staffer Lt. Col. Vindman.
However, former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly says Lt. Col. Vindman did the right thing when he outed The President’s “perfect” Ukraine phone call.
“He did exactly what we teach them to do from cradle to grave,” Kelly told the audience at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. “He went and told his boss what he just heard.”

But junior staffer Rich Higgins sees it differently. He says the NSC was filled with Obama holdovers and Never Trumpers.
I was shocked to find that resistance seemed to be the NSC’s mission.
So he reported that to his boss. But with different results than Vindman.
Nobody called me a “whistleblower” or demanded an investigation. Congress didn’t invite me to testify.
Instead, they fired him.
Folly of Adam Schiff’s Trump Impeachment Effort
Alaska became a U.S. possession thanks to Seward’s folly. Secretary of State William Seward bought Alaska from Russia for seven million dollars in 1867. And outraged House Republicans trashed the transaction, calling it “Seward’s folly.”
Then they impeached Seward’s boss, President Andrew Johnson. But the Senate acquitted Johnson by one vote.
Now Adam Schiff worries that President Trump will sell Alaska back to Putin. Not to mention turning the White House over to Jared Kushner and bugging out to Mar-a-Lago.
