I.O.U. for Clunkers
Car dealers have fronted Cash for Clunkers money so buyers wouldn’t have to clip a bar code and send it to the government for a rebate. So far the dealers are holding the bag.
Cartoonist Acted Stupidly
That would be me. Tony Stalls of the Arlington, VA FOP Lodge NOVA 35 tells me that the FOP endorsed McCain. I could say the guy in the cartoon only has an FOP sticker on his Obama supporting car so he won’t get a ticket. But that would be wrong.
Children’s Book Signing
I’ll be signing copies of The Great White House Breakout with Helen Thomas tomorrow night, June, 13 in Washington, DC . The Event is a Gala for the ADC, The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. Bill Clinton is the Keynote speaker ( here’s a link) and Helen will be honored.
