Lightweight Reporter
The master of political incorrectness says he refuses to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo because it would be politically incorrect. In other words he’s calling her a bimbo. He also called her a lightweight reporter.
Trump took a break from charming his way to the White House by sitting out last night’s debate. He raised funds for veterans instead.

That left the remaining candidates fully exposed to Kelly’s heavyweight questioning. She came down especially hard on Cruz and Rubio, confronting them with video evidence of their flip-flops on immigration. Cruz insists his enthusiastic support of amendments to pass an amnesty bill were really poison pills to kill it.
Cruz Goldman Sachs Values
Hillary got $675,000 in speaking fees from Goldman Sachs. As any Clintonian would say, that’s old news. We expect it.
Ted Cruz failed to properly report a half million dollar loan from Goldman Sachs. The news here isn’t that he forgot to report the loan, it’s that the Wall Street bank lends him money. Not only that, his wife works there. At least she did until she took a recent leave of absence.
Goldman Sachs Values
Ted Cruz is a smart Princeton and Harvard guy. He’s undeniably conservative and has the courage of his convictions to stand up to the ethanol lobby in Iowa.
But neither a borrower or a lender be when you’re trashing New York values.
Fear of Bernie Sanders

The NYT reports that Team Clinton is attacking Bernie Sanders for pushing its progressive ideas too successfully.
Chelsea complained that he wants to dismantle Obamacare and move to single payer. Claire McCaskill says if he’s the nominee Republicans will break out hammer and sickle ads. And David Brock, publisher of the left wing Media Matters, called Sanders a Socialist Wackadoodle.
Bernie Sanders
Bernie is 12.6 points ahead of Hillary in the Real Clear Politics new Hampshire poll average.
Two Corinthians
The Donald is reaching out to Christians with Bible quotes. In a speech at Liberty University he quoted St. Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians. He called it “Two Corinthians”. The Pharisees of the press were quick to jump on this proclaiming the proper usage is “Second Corinthians”.
New York Values
Ted Cruz stood up to Trump in the Charleston debate but the “New York values” card backfired on him.
The Donald gave an eloquent response about 9/11. Some of us here in flyover country actually kind of admire New York. And when Cruz said he meant New Yorkers aren’t conservative Trump mentioned that William F. Buckley was a New Yorker.
New York Values
Meanwhile many actual New York voters were pissed. At least the ones at the Daily News were.
Update: Kevin Williamson (who writes for Buckley’s magazine National Review) defends New York values and says of Cruz, “He is a very, very smart man who apparently believes that the median Republican presidential primary voter is very, very dumb.”
