Big Dog and That Girl
Debbie Wasserman Schultz
Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to step down as Democrat Party Chair. Hacked DNC emails revealed that she helped rig the primary election for Hillary. When she attempted to speak to the florida delegation she was booed off the stage .
That Girl
Meanwhile, the convention crowd couldn’t get enough of the Big Dog. Bill Clinton spun a yarn about that girl with the frizzy blonde hair and big glasses. There was no mention of “that woman” as Maureen Dowd was quick to point out.
Bill and Hillary would go on to the White House, the Senate, a seat as Secretary of State, and millions in speaking fees.
Black Lives Lie Matters
The deaths on live video of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling created a shocking impression, to say the least. How do you draw a cartoon about a snuff film?
I held off because things don’t always turn out the way they seem. Learned that from the Michael Brown case in Ferguson. Brown was portrayed by the media as a “gentle giant”. Eric Holder’s Justice Department found him to be a thug who was shot and killed while attacking a police officer.
“Hands up don’t shoot” was a lie but Black Lives Matter ran with it anyway.
The irony is five Dallas police officers died while defending a Black Lives protest march.
” I may not agree with what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it.” – Not just words.
Black Lives
Eugene Robinson explains here why “the racial divide, has its roots in lingering claims of white supremacy.”
John Gibbs explains here why Robinson is full of it. He blames Obama for wrongly “accusing the police and justice system at large of racism.”
And here’s an eight and a half minute YouTube by Paul Joseph Watson that tells the truth about Black Lives Matter.
Above the Law
Are some people above the law?
FBI Director Comey told Congress that Hillary was “extremely careless” and “negligent.” He said she lied about classified information on her private server (but not to the FBI). And he said her lawyers wiped emails from her server. Then he let her off the hook.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch, uninfluenced by her surprise meeting with Bill Clinton, proclaimed the case closed.
Above The Law
Paul Mirengoff at Powerline thinks Comey was protecting the will of the people. Democratic voters didn’t care about her emails when they nominated her for president.
But Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan says, “Americans’ trust in their government is at an all-time low.”
Considering police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, followed by the murder of five police officers in Dallas, Congressman Jordan might have a point.
Clinton Lynch Grandchildren Caper
The Clinton Lynch Grandchildren Caper has taken on a life of its own.
According to Observer.com AG Loretta Lynch was minding her own business on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. Then Bill Clinton dropped in for a visit.
The FBI and secret service knew Clinton and Lynch would both be passing though. They hoped to get Clinton out before Lynch touched down in order to avoid a motorcade traffic jam. No such luck. Clinton’s Motorcade dawdled, then Bill then stepped out, strolled over to Lynch’s plane, and walked in. No one threw him to the ground.
Grandchildren Conference
He spent about 30 minutes with Lynch talking “grandchildren.”
As Attorney General it’s up to Lynch to decide whether to prosecute Bill’s wife Hillary based on the FBI investigation of her private email server. Lynch admits her impromptu meeting with Bill was “bad optics.” She says she plans to accept whatever action the FBI and Justice Department recommends.
Now the ball’s in FBI Director Comey’s court. He won’t be talking “grandchildren.”
Sell Guns to ISIS
Last week Senate Republicans voted to deny the executive branch the power to revoke second amendment rights without due process. Leading Democrats accused Republicans of wanting to sell guns to ISIS.
Sell Guns to Mexican Drug Cartel
Early in the Obama administration ATF actually did sell weapons to members of the Mexican Drug cartel. The program was called Operation Fast and Furious. It was a scheme to track the movement of weapons to Mexican crime scenes. The Justice Department called it gun walking. But ATF lost track of where the guns walked.
Sheryl Atkinson covered the story extensively for CBS News. U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and hundreds of Mexicans and were murdered with weapons sold by the Fast and Furious Operation.
