Anchors Away
I’ve heard that when your opponent is self-destructing, the best thing to do is get out of the way. Unless you’re a Republican, in which case, you’ll probably want to begin a movement to repeal the 14th amendment. The most likely outcome of that effort according to Linda Chavez is no Hispanic Republicans. She makes her case in a WSJ column. It’s a Surprise
Chris Dodd and Nancy Pelosi explain here that you have to pass their 2000 page bills to find out what’s in them.
William Saletan has an interesting piece in Slate detailing how Kagan, while working in the Clinton White House, doctored a report on partial birth abortion by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynocologists. He points out that the report was taken as expert opinion in court rulings. If she gets on the Supreme Court and overturns a ruling because it was based on her original lie, would that make her an activist judge?
Heinous Words
The murder of Dr. George Tiller was an act of terrorism designed to intimidate others who perform late term abortions, sometimes on viable fetuses. When Obama started talking about heinous acts of violence I didn’t know if he was talking about Dr. Tiller’s murder or his job description.
Jesus Coverup
President Obama spoke at Georgetown University last month. When he did not receive an honorary degree he made them cover up the school IHS symbol. Notre Dame took the hint . The Fighting Irish commencement address was given by Dr. Obama.
