Elon Musk has pledged $45 million a month to America PAC. The former Obama funder now supports Donald Trump. The Gnu PAC has hundreds of employees working to register voters and promote early voting.

The would-be assassin set up shop 450 ft from the stage. The NYT says that was “outside the security perimeter but well within rifle range of Mr. Trump.” Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle says she takes full responsibility but refuses to step down.
Presidents Have the Same Legal Immunity as You
The Supreme Court heard arguments for presidential legal immunity. Trump, naturally, wants unlimited immunity if he wins. Would that mean he could gun down ex-president Joe Biden on Fifth Avenue? The Court seemed to be leaning to a more limited immunity from prosecution. More like what you and I have – up to $10,000 in free shoplifting.
Sunlight is the Best Disinfectant for Politics and Virus
Sunlight is the best disinfectant. That’s a popular phrase first uttered by Justice Louis Brandeis. He meant shining light on politicians.
But it’s not just for politicians. HHS scientist William Bryan presented the results of a coronavirus study at Thursday’s White House briefing. And the study showed a combination of sunlight and humidity to be effective against the virus. Bleach and isopropyl alcohol too.

And Trump, being Trump, wondered aloud if the light could be brought inside the body “through the skin or some other way.”
He continued:
And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number (INAUDIBLE) interesting to check that so that you are going to have to use medical doctors with but it sounds interesting to me so we will see but the whole concept of the light the way it kills it in one minute that’s–that’s pretty powerful.

Trump Made his Move
“Mr. Trump has often seemed a president playing checkers while America’s adversaries play chess. He is not given to nuanced strategic concepts or long-range plans.” That’s how WSJ’s Holman Jenkins sees it.
But this time maybe he was a little nuanced, not responding while the Iranians made their moves. Or maybe he was napping, since he only sleeps four hour a night. Anyway, Iran’s proxies moved on oil tankers, bombed oil fields and shot down a U.S. drone. And Trump did nothing. Until they fired rockets at an American base, killing a contractor, and set fire to the American Embassy. Then Trump made his move, executing the evil genius General Soleimani Rocket Man style with a missile.
Long Range Plans
And now it’s not just all Death to America anymore. “His demise will not stop his mission,” said Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, “But the criminals who have the blood of General Soleimani and other martyrs of the attack on their hands must await a tough revenge.”
