Reporters Grilled Joe Biden at Rare Presser
Reporters grilled Joe Biden when they finally got the opportunity at a rare press conference. Just kidding. They mostly lobbed softballs at him like this:
“When you hear these remarks — ‘suckers,’ ‘losers,’ recoiling from amputees, what does it tell you about President Trump’s soul and the life he leads?”

Well, I guess that would have been a hardball question for Trump, but he wasn’t there.

Nazis, Trump and Aborted Babies

Here’s my commentary:
“Ted has fingered the RNC’s failure to come up with a platform as the equivalent of Nazi Germany’s Enabling Act.
Looks like the president is Hitler. Again. George W. Bush had a nice run as Hitler too.
It seems to be a genetic disorder. It only affects Republicans. The far left mob must have achieved herd immunity. No matter how many Reichstags they try to burn down they never catch the Hitler bug.” – CB
Only Her Hair Dresser Knows if Nancy was Set Up
Biden blames Trump, Pelosi blames the hair salon. Fox News somehow obtained video of the Speaker’s illicit San Francisco blowout.
The city only permits outdoor hairdos. But Pelosi had her do done deep in the bowels of a salon. Without a mask.
When faced with the evidence, she claimed it was a salon setup. The owner says it’s a lie.
All can agree, however, Nancy’s hair looks great. No word if Joe thinks it smells good too.
Joe Biden is no Radical Socialist
Joe Biden is no radical socialist but sometimes his party makes him seem like one on TV. No speaker at the DNC mentioned the violent protests in Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis and other cities. Republicans noticed and took up the theme that Biden is soft on rioters.
So, on Monday in Pittsburgh, with a nudge from Don Lemon, Joe condemned the violence and blamed Trump for it.
Biden no Radical Socialist
He also insisted he’d stand up to the hard left in the party’s base and for emphasis asked, “Do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters?”
I’m not sure how that will sit with Bernie Sanders. Joe’s people met with his people and Bernie was pleased with the outcome. So pleased he said that if Joe sticks to the agreement he’ll be “the most progressive president since Roosevelt.”
Grassy Knoll Conspiracy Theories
The grassy knoll has been the gold standard for conspiracies theories in my lifetime. I was into it. My parents even took me to a presentation by Dr. Cyril Wecht the forensic pathologist who explained the finer points of shooting bullets into goat carcasses to prove that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone. But as the years wore on the story gradually ceased to get my goat.
However, now there’s competition on the grassy knoll. It looked like the new gold standard conspiracy theory could well be that President Trump is a Russian agent! It’s the only reasonable explanation for his victory over Hillary. But there’s not much talk about it anymore. Word is out that Hillary and the DNC paid for the Steele Dossier, and FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith is pleading guilty to altering a document used to spy on the Trump campaign.
But wait! In these fast moving times Democrats have gone postal with a new grassy knoll theory. Agent Trump is crushing the Postal Service in his torture chamber in order to block mail-in ballots for Biden and steal yet another election.
