Bully in Chief
President Obama seems to be auditioning for a lead role in the documentary, Bully. He tried to intimidate the U.S. Supreme Court while flanked, in the Rose Garden, by Mexican President Calderon and Candadian Prime Minister Harper. The administration’s Fast and Furious “gun walking” program has contributed to mayhem and death in the Mexican Drug War, and Obama thumped Canada by blocking the Keystone pipeline.
For good measure he later lashed out at House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan, calling him a Social Darwinian. So there.
Flexible Leadership
In the president’s latest open mic escapade he was caught passing a message to Putin that he will be even more pliable when he’s no longer accountable to the voters.
Surge Schedule
Afghans almost seem more upset over Quran burnings than civilian murders. Maybe that’s because they’re more accustomed to the latter. At any rate, Karzai is at the end of his rope. It’s not hard to see why.
Got Back
President Obama has Israel’s back but President Ahmadinejad has Syria’s back more.
Hit Man Holder
AG Eric Holder announced, that under certain conditions, it would be quite all right to kill American citizens overseas.
Conor Friedersdorf at The Atlantic picked up on this, but why do I think if Bush had said it the legacy media would have given it considerably more attention? True, the WSJ likes the policy. But where’s the outrage we heard concerning mere electronic spying on mere non-American citizens who happened to call or email Americans?
