Jenner Comes Out
Bruce Jenner came out as a woman to rave reviews. He also came out as a conservative Christian Republican. That didn’t go over as well with his former admirers on the left.
Jenner told Diane Sawyer that, despite his manly body, he’s always had the soul of a woman. He won a gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. That was the same Olympics where many of the gold medal winning East German swimmers were women with the bodies of men.
An interesting twist but no cartoon.
One and Done
Duke won the national title with three one and done rental players. Stephen Moore in IBD wonders “How can it be constitutional or ethical in America for the NBA to deny a 19-year-old the opportunity to make a living with its minimum-age requirement?”
Hillary’s Secret Server
Hillary surfaced yesterday with a press conference to explain her super secret email server. She said she has it for the convenience of not having to lug around multiple devices for personal and government email. Suspicious minds like Jonathan Karl might also think it’s for the convenience of not having her emails subpoenaed from the State Department server.

Now that we know Hillary hid public information on her own private server, will her past scandals come back to haunt her? Maybe not.
Lois Lerner “lost” thousands of IRS emails when a server “crashed” and had to be put down. She seems to be weathering the storm so far.
EPA administrator Lisa Jackson kept a secret email account under the name Richard Windsor. Mr. Windsor won an award and now has a cushy job at Apple.
O’Reilly Zone
In the wake of the Brian Williams meltdown over exaggerated war stories Media Matters started digging dirt on Fox’s Bill O’Reilly. David Corn wrote in Mother Jones that O’Reilly lied about being in the Falkland Islands war zone in 1982. O’Reilly says he never claimed to be in the Falklands.
O’Reilly then went on the offensive in the MSM war zone:
During a phone conversation, he told a reporter for The New York Times that there would be repercussions if he felt any of the reporter’s coverage was inappropriate. “I am coming after you with everything I have,” Mr. O’Reilly said. “You can take it as a threat.”
O’Reilly hardly factors as the Time’s biggest threat. NYT reporter James Risen says the Obama administration is the greatest threat to a free press in a generation..
