Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to step down as Democrat Party Chair. Hacked DNC emails revealed that she helped rig the primary election for Hillary. When she attempted to speak to the florida delegation she was booed off the stage .

Meanwhile, the convention crowd couldn’t get enough of the Big Dog. Bill Clinton spun a yarn about that girl with the frizzy blonde hair and big glasses. There was no mention of “that woman” as Maureen Dowd was quick to point out.
Bill and Hillary would go on to the White House, the Senate, a seat as Secretary of State, and millions in speaking fees.

Is Bernie Sanders a Democrat? Here’s the Bern in his own words from PolitiFact:
“I am not now, nor have I ever been, a liberal Democrat,” he said in a 1985 New England Monthly profile, according to Politico.
“Socialist is the political and economic philosophy I hold, not a party I run under,” he explained in 1988, when he unsuccessfully ran for Congress.
After calling it “ideologically bankrupt,” Sanders lobbied for admission into the Democratic caucus for practical reasons (getting coveted committee assignments, mustering votes for bills), according to news reports from his first year in Congress. But party leaders wouldn’t let him join as he refused to become a Democrat.
When asked if he would officially join the party on April 30, 2015, when he announced his candidacy, Sanders said, “No, I am an independent who is going to be working with the —” cutting himself off mid-sentence.
But last night he urged his supporters to vote for Hillary Clinton. The Bern got booed.
Ted Cruz’s Convention Speech
Dr. Krauthammer diagnosed Ted Cruz’s convention speech as a suicide note. Larry Kudlow says Cruz gave a “career ending speech”.
But David Harsanyi says, “In a party filled with cowards, Cruz stood apart.”
If 2016 ends up being a disaster for his party—and it’s a good bet it will—Cruz will be the only major Republican to emerge from the Trump fiasco with his principles largely intact. Maybe, as his critics claim, he’s just laying the groundwork for 2020. Maybe it will backfire. Maybe only someone as stubborn and egotistical as Cruz could do it. So what?
