Decisions, Decisions for the Big 10

More decisions for the Big 10.
The Ohio State-Michigan game won’t be played for the first time since 1917. Then it was WW I. Now it’s Covid 19.
The Big Ten announced a schedule in August but cancelled the season five days later. But then it noticed everybody else was playing so it reversed course.
They Buckeyes have only played five games and they’re undefeated. But the conference required a minimum of six games to qualify for the Big 10 championship.
No problem, the league decided to change that rule too. Ohio State will play Northwestern on Dec. 19 for the Big 10 championship.
It’s all very upsetting to Dabo Swinney.
Stacey Abrams Refused to Concede

Stacey Abrams refused to concede defeat in the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial race. She said the election process is “rotten and rigged.” Sound familiar?:
“Concession means to say that the process was fair, but when I run an organization that in 10 days between election night and the night I refuse to concede we receive more than 50,000 phone calls for people who were denied the right to vote I am complicit if I say that that system is fair
From the Hill, Aug. 19, 2019: WSJ Appeared in the November 12, 2020, print edition as ‘Notable & Quotable.’
The Donald couldn’t have said it better himself. As it happens, Abrams helped set the stage for Trump’s defeat in Georgia.
Dogsled Teams Reached Warp Speed in 1925

Dogsled teams rushed antitoxin serum across the Alaskan wilderness to reach Nome in record time in 1925. They made a trip that normally takes 25 days in less than six and saved the town from a diphtheria epidemic.
America went ape over the dogs. A statue of Balto, a lead dog, still stands in New York’s Central Park. Balto also played the lead in a 1995 animated feature.
But it turns out Balto may be the Rosie Ruiz of the sled dog set. Another dog, Togo, led the team through the most treacherous stretch while Balto led the last leg to the finish.

Steal This Election

What makes you think Democrats would steal this election?
Michael Barone notes that Trump has grudgingly accepted defeat but hasn’t called off the legal dogs.
There’s a reason for that:
In violation of longstanding norms, Obama administration intelligence and law enforcement agencies spied on the opposition party campaign. Officials proffered the dodgy Steele dossier before the FISA court without revealing it was paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
…Again and again, leading Democrats — Hillary Clinton, Rep. Jerrold Nadler, the late Rep. John Lewis, Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter — called Trump an “illegitimate” president. For three years, Democrats advanced the Russia-collusion hoax without finding or producing any evidence except for the discredited Steele dossier.

Trump Still Following Hillary’s Advice

Donald Trump is still following Hillary’s advice by refusing to concede the election. His attorney general says he’s seen no widespread evidence of fraud but Trump still says the election was rigged. Especially in Georgia.
Yet he’s holding a get out the vote rally on Saturday in Georgia for a Jan. 5 Senate runoff election. It’s important because if Republicans don’t win one of the two races that day they lose control of the Senate.
Meanwhile, fraud investigators Sidney Powell and Lin Wood, and are urging voters to boycott the election.
