Third String quarterbacks and JV Terrorists

150113-third stringCardale Jones, the quarterback for Ohio State’s national champion football team says he’s not yet ready for the NFL. He wants to work his way up from third string to second or maybe even first team for the Buckeye’s first.

Cardale has set the tone for benchwarmers everywhere. The Islamic State scrubs come to mind. ISIS doesn’t just hack off heads anymore. It’s now a cyber terror group. ISIS is taking credit for hacking US Central Command computers and exposing military personnel through social networking accounts.

The Commander in Chief, whose address is already exposed, once proclaimed ISIS the JV team.

Obama is no Charlie Hebdo

The president is not Charlie Hebdo. He can’t even bring himself to utter the words “Islamic terror“. Why would he fly to Paris to march against it?

Veto Proof

150109-vetoIn an interview with NPR President Obama had this to say about losing the Senate in the midterm elections:

I haven’t used the veto pen very often since I’ve been in office, partly because legislation that I objected to was typically blocked in the Senate even after the House took over — Republicans took over the House.

Now I suspect there are going to be some times where I’ve got to pull that pen out.

Within the first hour of the new session of the 114th Congress he threatened to veto the Keystone pipeline bill. He also threatened to veto bills on immigration and regulations.

Bush vs Clinton the sequel

141230dynasty2It’s way early but as of now it’s Bush vs Clinton for president. Jeb is the leader the pack of Republican presidential candidates. Hillary remains heir apparent for the Democrats.

W paints a confusing picture of the royal bloodline by calling, My sweet Dad, a wonderful father to Bill and me.

The Week says embrace the dynasty.

At this point what difference does it make?

Still Bush’s Fault

141210-still-bush's-faultDiane Feinstein issued a Senate Intelligence Committee report on CIA terrorist interrogation tactics it called torture. Members of the committee approved those same tactics after the 9/11 attacks.

The report was written the style of the health care bill – 100% by Democrats. And researched Rolling Stone style – none of the accused were interviewed.

Bottom line – it’s almost 2015 and it’s still Bush’s fault.
