But it’s media Trump loves to hate. He calls them dishonest and disgusting. (He’s right if he’s talking about Katie Couric’s gun documentary.) Yesterday he called ABC reporter Tom Llamas a sleaze.
Charles Hurt thinks Trump’s a marketing genius. He turned yesterday’s press conference into a 40 minute free campaign commercial about money he raised for veterans.
Presidential Package
Of all Donald Trump’s flaws, he chose to defend the size of his um.. hands on national television. The day after the Detroit debate “Little Marco” criticized The Donald for bragging about his presidential package. It was Rubio who started the whole thing by claiming Trump had small hands – and less.
The Republican Reality show has become too gross even for Jerry Springer:
“They ought to run a crawl along the bottom of the screen, [saying] ‘This is NOT a debate for junior high school class president’, Mr Springer told the Financial Times.
“Clearly they could be on our show, but now they’ve gone off the deep end, and we would start bleeping out some of what they’d say,” said Mr Springer.
Does Presidential Package Stand up to Scrutiny?
On the upside, moderator Chris Wallace did a nice job holding Trump’s feet to the fire using charts to show that his tax plan doesn’t add up. Not that it mattered.
Playing the American Public for Suckers
Desperate times call for desperate measures. So Mitt Romney injected himself into the campaign to save the honor of the Republican Party.
He called for a brokered convention. He said Trump is “vulgar” and “a phony and a fraud”. He accused Trump of “playing the American public for suckers.”
Trump‘s response? “I could have told Mitt to drop to his knees.”
Lightweight Reporter
The master of political incorrectness says he refuses to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo because it would be politically incorrect. In other words he’s calling her a bimbo. He also called her a lightweight reporter.
Trump took a break from charming his way to the White House by sitting out last night’s debate. He raised funds for veterans instead.

That left the remaining candidates fully exposed to Kelly’s heavyweight questioning. She came down especially hard on Cruz and Rubio, confronting them with video evidence of their flip-flops on immigration. Cruz insists his enthusiastic support of amendments to pass an amnesty bill were really poison pills to kill it.
Obama is Making a List
President Obama is making a list and checking it twice. He thinks it’s insane that people on a no-fly list can buy a gun. The problem is there’s no due process involved in earning a spot on the list. And it’s hard to get off if you don’t have a direct line to the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Stephen Hayes, the writer and Fox News contributor, found himself on the list and he hardly ever wears a suicide belt. But he did take a one way flight to Istanbul to board a cruise ship, and that did the trick. Hayes filled out all kinds of paperwork to get himself off the list but to no avail. Finally, Bret Baier asked Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, during an interview, if he thought Steve Hayes was a terrorist. That got him off the list.
The president has worse lists to be on and the way off is even less pleasant.
