I’ll Never Grow Up
After shutting down the pipeline, Obama went to Disneyland to tell the world America is open for business.
Port Authority
Dockworkers and truckers on the west coast were largely ungracious about the Occupy movement’s efforts on their behalf. Protesters attempted to disrupt capitalism by shutting down ports from San Diego to Anchorage, causing workers to be sent home without pay.
The president, who disrupted the the Keystone Pipeline and the jobs that go with it, has previously said of the protesters, “you are the reason I ran for office“.
War Games
I didn’t watch Obama’s speech about “recovering the surge” in Afghanistan. But I hear he wants to ditch the war so he can move on to “nation building” in the homeland.
The war and the economy are dragging the president down in the polls. Yesterday he tapped the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to supplement the oil we get from from the drilling jobs we paid for in Brazil.
I think I like the war more than I used to.
