Missing Airplane

Why does the media give insane wall to wall coverage of a missing airplane when nobody knows what happened? I’ve been watching nonstop while doing this cartoon! Oh that’s why.

Supine Senate Spying

Senators are no different from you and me, and Angela Merkel. They get spied on too.

Senate Spying

The supine Senate hasn’t done much to protect its turf from an overreaching executive. The president has taken one bone after another from the legislative watch dog while rewriting the Afordable Care Act.

The CIA finally got Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Diane Feinstein into a lather when documents she was using to investigate the agency turned up missing – from a supposedly secure computer in the basement of CIA headquarters.

Dem Hopes Sink

With the defeat of Alex Sink in a Florida special Congressional election, some Democrats’ hopes may be sunk.

Hopes Sink

Sink was a capable moderate Democrat running in a district that supported Obama twice for president. She couldn’t be blamed for ObamaCare because she wasn’t in Congress when it passed. But rather than run away from the ACA she let it stick to her by promising to mend it, not end it. She ended up losing to David Jolly, a former lobbyist who promised to repeal the thing.

Ted Nugent

Ted Nugent says he’s sorry, kind of, for referring to the president as a subhuman mongrel. He’s also sorry that his words will be used against politicians he supports.

“I did cross the line, I do apologize”, Nugent said, “not necessarily to the president , but on behalf of much better men than myself, like the best governor in America, Rick Perry, and the best attorney general in America (Greg Abbott)”.

Republicans are keeping their distance.

Where Does Wendy Stand?

Wendy Davis became famous for her pink running shoe filibuster in the Texas assembly. She was trying to stop the passage of a law to ban abortion after 20 weeks and require higher standards for abortion clinics. She claimed ignorance of the Gosnell case.

A national “Stand With Wendy” campaign erupted among the pro abortion crowd.

Wendy cashed in on her fame to run for governor. But her campaign took on water when Wayne Slater reported on her resume in the Dallas Morning News. Now she’s trying to right her ship by standing with the abortion limiting views she filibustered.
