Crucifixion
EPA official Al Armendariz washed his hands of his Roman centurion approach to oil and gas executives.
“They’d go into a little Turkish town somewhere, they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them,” Armendariz continued. “And then you know that town was really easy to manage for the next few years. And so you make examples out of people who are in this case not compliant with the law.”
Bully in Chief
President Obama seems to be auditioning for a lead role in the documentary, Bully. He tried to intimidate the U.S. Supreme Court while flanked, in the Rose Garden, by Mexican President Calderon and Candadian Prime Minister Harper. The administration’s Fast and Furious “gun walking” program has contributed to mayhem and death in the Mexican Drug War, and Obama thumped Canada by blocking the Keystone pipeline.

Stand Your Ground
If George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin in self-defense he should get off, if not he should go to prison. The Stand Your Ground law seems redundant.
Hit Men
Watching the ritual pregame hugging and kissing between NBA players, I used to get the feeling that they think of themselves more as members of an exclusive club of elite athletes than as combatants representing the fans paying their dues. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but some NFL players don’t see it that way. They think of themselves as members of a different kind of club – the mob.
While coaches paid for hits, the NFL touted its concern for concussions.
