The New QE3

Bernanke has stopped printing federal money. Obama has begun pumping federal oil.

War Games

I didn’t watch Obama’s speech about “recovering the surge” in Afghanistan. But I hear he wants to ditch the war so he can move on to “nation building” in the homeland.

The war and the economy are dragging the president down in the polls. Yesterday he tapped the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to supplement the oil we get from from the drilling jobs we paid for in Brazil.

I think I like the war more than I used to.

Obama Stops Blaming Bush

Oblivious to the role of grocery store scanners, Obama blames the poor economy on ATM machines.

Mutiny

I passed on the Republican debate Monday night for the Stanley Cup game. The Bruins put it away in the first period and, according to Dana Milbank’s play by play, so did Michelle Bachman.

I also missed the rapture of Newt’s staff while he was on a boat in the Greek Isles. Not making the cut, he carried on alone.

Bump in the Road

During a speech at the Jeep plant in Toledo, Obama admitted “There are always going to be bumps on the road to recovery”. According to Mark Steyn, “This is Main Street, Obamaville: All bumps, no road”.
