Not Quite the Worst Person In the World
Keith Olbermann was suspended indefinitely from MSNBC for making a total of $7200 in campaign contributions to three Democratic candidates. Upon further review it was determined there were no blows to the head and his suspension was reduced to 2 days. Everybody had something to say about this, I thought Michael Kinsley said it as well as anyone in Politico.
Groping for Answers
Airport security procedures have been flying under the cover of election news recently. The attention they do get has mostly been focused on air freight – with good reason. Matt Drudge, however, is lifting the veil on the use of full body scanners in some locations. Travelers who exercise their option to “opt out” are subject to full body searches. Post Election Press Conference
To Doyle McManus, of the LA Times, this isn’t 1994 when Bill Clinton said of the voters, “They sent us a clear message. I got it”. In 2010 it was all Obama could do to walk back his Nixon-like comment that those same voters are “the enemy“.
Failure to Communicate
Maybe a 55th speech on Obamacare would have set us straight. The Democrats blamed their problems on poor communication to the end.
Oppressed Minority
NPR’s sacking of Juan Williams for incorrect Muslim thoughts has created an uproar. Politico says Fox News has offered to help relieve Williams’ oppression with a 3 year contract worth $2 million.
