Hillary’s Secret Server

150311hillary-secret - server

Hillary surfaced yesterday with a press conference to explain her super secret email server. She said she has it for the convenience of not having to lug around multiple devices for personal and government email. Suspicious minds like Jonathan Karl might also think it’s for the convenience of not having her emails subpoenaed from the State Department server.

O’Reilly Zone

150226-o'reillyIn the wake of the Brian Williams meltdown over exaggerated war stories Media Matters started digging dirt on Fox’s Bill O’Reilly. David Corn wrote in Mother Jones that O’Reilly lied about being in the Falkland Islands war zone in 1982. O’Reilly says he never claimed to be in the Falklands.

O’Reilly then went on the offensive in the MSM war zone:

During a phone conversation, he told a reporter for The New York Times that there would be repercussions if he felt any of the reporter’s coverage was inappropriate. “I am coming after you with everything I have,” Mr. O’Reilly said. “You can take it as a threat.”

O’Reilly hardly factors as the Time’s biggest threat. NYT reporter James Risen says the Obama administration is the greatest threat to a free press in a generation..

Climate of Terror

Boston is buried under the most snow ever (not that weather equals climate).

The Islamic State crucifies children, beheads Christians, and burns Muslims alive in cages. The U.S. embassy was evacuated in Yemen and Marines were forced to disable and abandon their weapons.

The White House says global warming is a greater threat than terror. Hard to know the truth.

Brian Williams Next Helicopter Assignment

150205-Brian Williams

Will Brian Williams be brought down by his fake claim that his helicopter was brought down by an enemy RPG over Iraq in 2003? Not likely. Media critic Howard Kurtz says he’s too big to fail.

Now the New Orleans Advocate is questioning his claim about a body floating through the French Quarter during Katrina. Tom Brokaw says it’s time for him to go.

Blizzard Bust

150127nyblizzardBoston got busted but the blizzard was a bust in New York. Central Park got about 8 inches of snow. Not bad but not very historical. “Potentially historical” is how the National Weather Service predicted the blizzard. That caused Louis C.K. to write, “Well I didn’t know you could call a thing historic if it hasn’t happened yet.” His Madison Square Garden show got cancelled.

The New York Post‘s John Podhoretz said, “don’t blame the media, blame the politicians.” Governor Cuomo shut down the subway system for the first time in 101 years – “because he wanted to”. Now that’s historical. Podhoretz called NY Mayor DeBlasio a “6-foot, 5-inch wagging finger, ordering everybody to go inside and stay inside if they knew what was good for them”.

Kevin Williamson summed it up in National Review. “If you happen to be a power-hungry politician, a state of emergency is a very useful thing”.
