VP Debate
Biden’s crazed grin seemed a little intimidating and a little weird. But he knew his stuff and seemed to have a good grip on the facts. Ryan, for his part, stuck to his knitting and showed respect for the old fart and in the end it seemed to pay off for him.
Pre-existing Condition
Romney says he wants to cover pre-existing conditions but he’s having trouble explaining how his plan is the same, but different, from Obama’s.
Better Off
Dems have struggled with the “are you better off” question. Martin O’Malley, the governor of Maryland answered “no”, switched to yes, and was blown off the bridge of death.

Drought
President Obama was in Iowa trying to give tax money to the wealthy. He wants us t0 ” ‘put politics aside’ and give farmers their money”. Ten percent of farmers get 74% of all farm subsidies. Forty percent of the U.S. corn crop is used to make federally mandated ethanol.
