Weiner Poll
It hasn’t been a good week for the Weiner the world awaited. The NY mayoral candidate’s campaign chairman quit and his chief mouthpiece launched into a profane tirade against an intern. Weiner slumped from first to fourth place with 16% in the polls. My question is: who are the 16% who want this guy to be mayor of NYC?
Update: Well, now we know. Jimmy “The Rent’s Too Damn High” McMillan let it all hang out and endorsed Weiner. I liked him in the 2012 primary. Maybe he sees something I don’t.
Geraldo’s Weiner Interview
Copping fake handles seems to be all the rage in government. Anthony Weiner revealed himself as Carlos Danger. Before she threw in the towel, it was discovered that EPA administrator Lisa Jackson used an e-mail account as Richard Windsor.
Speaking of towels, here’s Geraldo’s “selfie” if you haven’t seen it.

Rolling Stone
Back in April, Solon’s David Sorata hoped the Boston Bombers would be white. That’s because in terms of mass shootings, … “white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes.”
He got his wish in spades. The Tsarnaevs are caucasian, as in from the caucuses. And privileged too – Tamerlan, maybe not so much – but Dzhokhar made the cover of the Rolling Stone.
