Pope a Dope
The president’s been busy making recess appointments, even though Congress wasn’t in recess, and ordering the Catholic Church to violate its beliefs by providing free contraceptives to its employees.
Won’t Take No For an Answer
Obama feels we deserve to be protected from the Congress we elected, and he’s just the man to do it. To that end he made recess appointments to the NLRB and the new Consumer Protection bureaucracy. Only problem is Congress wasn’t in recess. The Senate was in a pro forma session. Obama says that’s a gimmick. Which is probably true considering the senate was in pro forma session when it approved the payroll tax cut extension.
Stuck on the Tarmac
More than 200 JetBlue passengers were stranded on the tarmac for 7 hours on Saturday. The Boeing plant in South Carolina has been sitting on the tarmac since April. Pelosi thinks it should stay that way until its workers un-decertify their union.
