Fact checking used to be called reporting. Here’s some from last night’s debate: bayonets, apology tour, sequestration, and everything else.

The Ties that Bind

Big Bird is replaced by women in binders as the Obama campaign theme

Women in binders has replaced Big Bird as the campaign theme of the week.

Acts of Terror

After sincerely mentioning “acts of terror” in the rose garden, the president went on “The View” with and sincerely mentioned he was “eye candy”.

For The Record

The Angry Obama debate was more entertaining than the Sourpuss Obama debate. “I’ve seen ’em all” and it was “Immeasurably the best debate in history”, according to George Will. Couldn’t find Lincoln Douglas on Youtube so I guess we’ll have to take his word for it.

Obama threw everything he had at Romney ( I tried drawing kitchen sinks but couldn’t fit in the words ) but in the end he couldn’t escape his own record.

Hillary Took a Great Fall

In the vice presidential debate, Biden said “we weren’t told” that diplomats in Libya had requested increased security before the Benghazi attack. On Tuesday Hillary blamed the failure on “the fog of war” but accepted responsibility. Meanwhile, Bill is campaigning for Obama. Is he hoping that by 2016, he can put Hillary back together again?
