For The Record

The Angry Obama debate was more entertaining than the Sourpuss Obama debate. “I’ve seen ’em all” and it was “Immeasurably the best debate in history”, according to George Will. Couldn’t find Lincoln Douglas on Youtube so I guess we’ll have to take his word for it.

Obama threw everything he had at Romney ( I tried drawing kitchen sinks but couldn’t fit in the words ) but in the end he couldn’t escape his own record.

Hillary Took a Great Fall

In the vice presidential debate, Biden said “we weren’t told” that diplomats in Libya had requested increased security before the Benghazi attack. On Tuesday Hillary blamed the failure on “the fog of war” but accepted responsibility. Meanwhile, Bill is campaigning for Obama. Is he hoping that by 2016, he can put Hillary back together again?

Obama Foreign Policy

Osama bin Laden is dead and al Qaeda is on the run…well…running through burning American embassies where it tortures and drags off dead ambassadors.

The UN General Assembly opened in New York on Monday. The Celebrity of the United States went there for serious talks with the world leaders of The View. He appeared with his wife, Michelle (airbrushed out of the image above), and quipped,”I’ve been told I’m eye candy here“. No, really, he did. I think it came from the same teleprompter voice that told him, “Harry, I have a gift”.

Victor Davis Hanson has a piece called The Fantasy House of Barack Obama. I recommend it to you.

Race Card

You may add “Chicago” to your list of racist words.

Ron Paul

Paul Ryan gave a great speech full of ideas last night. I’m still combing through it for cartoon ideas. The convention began with a fight over the seating of the other Paul’s delegates from Maine. Ron Paul still has not said if he will vote for Romney.

Other than the Paul delegates, the liveliest people at the convention so far have been deranged, race obsessed, commentators. Chris Mathews insists that talk about food stamps and welfare is a Republican “dog whistle” for playing the race card. Most people on welfare and food stamps are white, so Gingrich blew the whistle on Matthews for assuming they were black.

Yahoo’s Washington bureau chief, David Chalian, topped that by saying the Romney’s are “happy to have a party with black people drowning”. He was fired.
