Clowns, Mind Readers, and Hookers
Jeff Neely took the fifth yesterday. He was appearing before a House Oversight Committee hearing regarding an $823,000 GSA conference in Las Vegas. Neely was the GSA Official in charge. Clowns, mind readers and commemorative coins were all part of the festivities.
According to Bloomberg, “the GSA manages property and purchases goods and services for other government agencies”. As far as we know that doesn’t include services for now famously frugal Secret Service agents in Caragena.
The Secret Service was in Cartagena while the president, in his words, scouted out vacation spots for Michelle.
War on Women
Hilary Rosen has apologized for saying Ann Romney never worked a day in her life. She also insisted that no one says there’s a Republican “war on women”. Nancy Pelosi disagrees.
Stand Your Ground
If George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin in self-defense he should get off, if not he should go to prison. The Stand Your Ground law seems redundant.
