Immigration Speech

While in Texas to deliver a major speech on immigration, Obama seemed to have a few lines left over from his stand up gig at the Correspondents Dinner. He griped that Republicans are never satisfied with his border security efforts.

“You know, they said we needed to triple the Border Patrol. Or now they’re going to say we need to quadruple the Border Patrol. Or they’ll want a higher fence. Maybe they’ll need a moat. Maybe they want alligators in the moat. They’ll never be satisfied.”.

One Response to Immigration Speech

  1. Daniel Lovejoy says:

With the GOP selectively giving away contracts, I don’t think they will ever be satisfied with any project that puts money into the hands of the people that paid for them.
Border security, TSA contracts, Military subcontractors, medical insurance, etc., all those who will keep giving them money so they in turn, will keep the fear tactics rolling so the money continues to flow.
They will never accept that a problem has been fixed.
