Last Tango in Brussels
President Obama’s been dancing around the Islamic terror threat. He doesn’t want to take the lead. He says the threat isn’t “existential” and more people die in bathtub accidents.
He danced the Tango after the Brussels attacks. He played golf after James Foley was beheaded. John Kerry sent James Taylor to Paris to sing you got a friend after the Charlie Hebdo attacks.
While ISIS is losing ground in the Middle East the WSJ reports interlocking terror cells are growing throughout Europe.
Moderate Missiles From Iran
Joe Biden had an interesting two day visit to Israel. A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and killed an American student near a beach where Mrs. Biden was dining. Meanwhile Iran tested fired two ballistic missiles.
The missiles have a range of over 1000 miles. At its nearest point, Israel is 600 miles away. The missiles were hand inscribed in Hebrew with the words “Israel must be wiped out.”
Moderate Missiles
In December Iran fired rockets near the U.S. aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman in the Strait of Hormuz. In January Iran detained U.S. sailors and humiliated them on national television.
Vox gave the the Obama nuke deal a shout-out for bringing moderates to power in Iran.
Museum Cover-Up
Now that the Iran nuclear deal is a done deal President Rouhani is cashing in on his country’s new status as a “normal” country. One of the stops on his victory tour was Rome. To show respect for the new normal, Italian officials placed boxes over ancient nude statues in the Capitoline Museums to ensure that no nipple would go free.

The museum cover-up caused ridicule and scorn for the Italian government.

Sanctions on Iran
It’s unclear what happened to the American sailors caught and released by Iran.
First it was a mechanical problem, now a GPS malfunction is blamed for sending the ships off course. No matter. Sixty-five percent in the Real Clear Politics average of polls think the whole country is headed in the wrong direction.
The sailors apologized, were fed, cried, humiliated, and released. John Kerry thanked the Iranians.

Sanctions on Iran were to end today under terms of the nuclear deal.
