Have you ever supported Donald Trump? A lot of people have but some might be gone with the wind. In November Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?”
No worries, AOC, people are archiving away. The archivers include the never Trump Republicans of The Lincoln Project. They’re busy filling up a database with the names of former Trump staffers. The WSJ editorial page calls it a blacklist.
The Accountability Project is also hard at work. Former Obama spokesman Hari Sevugan tweeted, “WH staff are starting to look for jobs. Employers considering them should know there are consequences for hiring anyone who helped Trump attack American values.”
Big Tech Lends a Tentacle to Progressives
Big Tech is putting the squeeze on free speech. And it’s being embraced by progressives, as long as someone else’s speech gets the squeeze. Early progressive’s battled trust octopi. But no more.

In the 19th century, “progressives” sought to curb the power of monopolies and trusts on the logic that the proverbial people had only the railroads or telegraphs to travel or communicate, and should be freed from their octopus “tentacles.” The railroad argument, “Ride a horse if you don’t like us,” never washed.
Now progressives enlist social media monopolies to ensure that they alone can control, censor, and cancel incorrect communications over the publicly owned airspace. “Just email or use your cell phone, if you don’t like us” won’t wash either. Progressives are no longer the watchdogs breaking up trusts. They are the trusts breaking up watchdogs.

Snobs vs Deplorables in 2020 Election
This election was about “Snobs” vs “Deplorables” (or “Chumps” in Joe Biden’s case). And here was Howard Stern to prove it in May:
“I don’t hate Donald,” he continued. “I hate you for voting for him, for not having intelligence. For not being able to see what’s going on with the coronavirus, for not being able to see what the Justice Department is doing. I hate you, I don’t want you here.”
And here’s Robert De Niro now:
“I’m not like political, but I was so angry and so enraged and confounded that he would actually behave the way he did and that people bought it,”
Ailments Left Untreated Due to Pandemic
As the vote count and pandemic dragged on I daydreamed about other ailments left untreated during the pandemic.
Stand up and Fight the Virus Like Trump
Maybe more of us will be able to stand up and fight the virus like Trump. At least that’s what two former FDA commissioners seem to think. And they say it could still happen this fall. Scott Gotlieb and Mark McClellan write in the WSJ that Regeneron and Eli Lilly have applied for emergency authorization for the antibody treatment Trump received.
