Gay Marriage Bigotry
Everybody knows President Obama was against same sex marriage until he was for it. He said he evolved on the issue. Justice Kennedy and four other members of the Supreme Court also evolved this week. Now that it’s a civil right, opposition to gay marriage could be considered bigotry.
I’m all for keeping the government out of private business, including who marries whom. Kennedy’s opinion is interesting, however, in that one might now construe that incest, bestiality, pedophilia, and other forms of “personal choices … that define personal identity” may be considered civil rights as well; oppose them and you are a bigot…
