Let’s just hope that the legislation fails. The focus should not be on the insurance companies but rather how health care is delivered. I don’t want to sound like a cold hearted bastard that doesn’t care about his fellow man, but, even today, just because someone does not have health care, it does not deny them access to care. The cost of providing that service to others is essentially already embedded in the cost of health insurance for those that buy it.
