Operation Kayla Mueller

Kayla Mueller grew up in Prescott, Arizona as a Christian committed to helping others. So she traveled the world doing just that. She landed in southern Turkey working with the Danish Refugee Council helping Syrian refugees. But in 2013 she made an unexpected visit to a Doctors Without Borders hospital in Aleppo, Syria.

Aleppo

Aleppo was ground zero in a war involving the Syrian government, Syrian rebels, Kurds, Russians, ISIS and Iraq. And it was no place for an idealistic 26 year old American woman. So the doctors sent Kayla back over the border. But, on the way, ISIS kidnapped her.

Eventually the self-proclaimed caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi “married” Kayla. Then the religious scholar proceeded to rape and torture her.

Her parents learned of Kayla’s death in 2015.

U.S. Special Forces hunted down Baghdadi and he paid for his brutality with his life. The U.S. Joint Chief of Staff named the operation in honor of Kayla.

The Bishop

Monty Python had a sketch called The Bishop. The Bishop was always arriving moments too late to save a priest from imminent demise.

That Bishop was Episcopalian and a thug. But the real news recently has been about Roman Catholic Bishops and the pervert priests they protect.

A Pennsylvania grand jury accused 300 priests of sexually abusing over 1,000 children over the past 70 years.

Where do we get such men you may wonder? Seminaries. The former Archbishop of Washington, DC Cardinal Theodore McCarrick allegedly sexually molested young seminarians. He was kind of a Harvey Weinstein of the church.

The current Washington archbishop, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, called the news about his predecessor “a terrible disappointment.”

Cardinal McCarrick

Pope Francis accepted the resignation of 88 year old Cardinal Theodore McCarrick. The former Bishop of Washington DC is under investigation for sexual abuse of a minor 47 years ago.

Good Man With Gun Kills Mad Man With A Gun

mad man with a gun

It took a good man with a gun, and no shoes, to put a stop to a bad mad man with a gun at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.

Stephen Willeford, an NRA instructor, ended the mad man’s killing spree at 26 dead.

Mad Man With a Gun

The bad man should not have had a gun.

While he was in the Air Force in 2012 he choked his wife, cracked his stepson’s skull, threatened to kill superiors and escaped from a mental hospital. His efforts earned him a year in the brig. Yet he passed a background check at the gun store.

That’s because military bureaucrats failed to send his file to an FBI database.
