Can’t speak for Senator McCain but I have to think his finest hour – actually his finest five and a half years – was his time at the Hanoi Hilton. The North Vietnamese shot him down and captured him with two broken arms, a broken leg and a broken shoulder. When they found out his father was an admiral they offered to release him. McCain refused, denying the North Vietnamese propaganda points. His refusal earned him more torture for the next five and a half years in prison.

Being tortured is a bad thing but it doesn’t excuse his bad conduct and traitorous Senatorial record against his party, his State, or his Country.
Because of John McCain, each of us has had to endure the nightmare and expense of ObamaCare. Each of us except John McCain who had his own Congressional Health Coverage.

This cartoon is an example of fake news.
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8&9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, and not of works, lest anyone should boast.
McCain was a good man that made mistakes. Faith in Jesus Christ alone paves the way to heaven not your good works. Once you
have faith in Jesus Christ you will produce good works.

    • Allah says:

“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?” -James 2:14, rhetorically, before coming down harshly in favor of NO.

Of course, we have the problem evinced by the peculiar words of the great JC in Matthew 15:24. “I was not sent,” he says, “except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

So, there you have it, “O foolish man” (James 2:20). There is no salvation through works but not for the reason you had imagined.
