Will They Respect Us in the Morning?
The Russians celebrated Obama’s victory by announcing the deployment of short range missiles the day after the U.S. election. Putin later halted the deployment after Obama suggested he may stop an American missile shield based in Poland and the Czech republic. Here’s the story in the U.K. Times Online.
Last Akron Beacon Journal Tour Group
November 7, 2008 was my last day at the Akron Beacon Journal. Over the past 22 years I’ve given many presentations to visiting tour groups. For my last cartoon I thought I’d allow readers to offer a few words of encouragement.
