Doctors, Farmers, and the JV Team
The Senate just approved a continuing resolution to fund the government and train Syrian rebels to fight against ISIS. President Obama previously dismissed the rebels as “doctors, pharmacists, and farmers”. That’s a positive endorsement considering he called ISIS the “JV team”.
With no coherent strategy in place, the decisions being made today will set in motion escalated involvement in the future due to deteriorating circumstances.
Obama’s foreign policy is reactive, rather than pro-active, to disaster. The sad fact is he doesn’t realize it.
His foreign policy team isn’t even at the JV level. He is playing Pop Warner.
